Achieve ABA Therapy Group Partners With Purdue University Global

Professionals shaking hands to celebrate the Achieve ABA Therapy Group and Purdue University Global partnership.

We are pleased to announce that Achieve ABA Therapy Group has partnered with Purdue University Global, a public, nonprofit online university, to make advanced ABA education more affordable for our Colorado team.

When a Purdue Global representative contacted us, we welcomed the opportunity. The partnership supports something we value: helping our people continue to learn and grow.

Through this partnership, our employees and their immediate family members are eligible for 20% off undergraduate programs, 14% off master’s programs, and 10% off doctoral programs at Purdue Global. Spouses, partners, children, parents, and siblings all qualify.

Why We Partnered With Purdue Global

Many members of our Colorado team are working toward something more. Some are RBTs who hope to become BCBAs, and others are considering their next degree. The cost of school is often what places those goals out of reach, and we wanted to help.

Purdue Global is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and built for working adults, so our team can study around their schedules instead of stepping away from the work they do. The programs are offered online, which suits a team that works in homes, schools, and communities across the state. The discounts apply to any Purdue Global program at that degree level, so a family member can use them for a field that has nothing to do with ABA.

The tuition savings are available now. Purdue Global’s career team can also share our job openings with its students and alumni, which may allow us to meet people who are studying ABA and considering where to build their careers in Colorado.

Purdue Global’s ABA students also need supervised field experience hours, and we are open to hosting them. A BCBA must provide supervision, so we will say yes when we have a supervisor with the time to do it well.

Find the Right ABA Program for Your Next Step

Purdue Global offers ABA programs at three levels, all online. Each one is designed to meet the BACB’s coursework requirements for its matching certification. Which one fits depends on where you are starting.

Those without a degree can start with the bachelor’s in psychology with an ABA focus, which requires a high school diploma or GED and is aimed at BCaBA coursework. Bachelor’s degree holders can then pursue the master’s in applied behavior analysis, which is aimed at BCBA coursework.

For professionals who already have a master’s in a related field, the postgraduate certificate in ABA offers the same BCBA coursework preparation without a second master’s degree. All three can be completed online, so you can continue working while you study and remain with a team that already knows your work.

Purdue Global students and alumni may find our openings on the university’s career network. Applicants who need supervised field experience in Colorado should include their program and goals in their application. Placement is not guaranteed, but we will be straightforward about what we can provide.

From Coursework to Colorado Licensure: What to Know Before You Enroll

Completing a program does not make you a BCBA or BCaBA on its own. You also need supervised fieldwork, BACB approval of your eligibility, and a passing exam score.

Purdue Global does not guarantee that any student will qualify for or pass the exam, and it states this on its program pages. Requirements vary by state and can change, so review the BACB’s U.S. licensure information and the rules for the credential you want before choosing a program.

Colorado is also raising its standards. Under HB26-1425, practicing ABA in Colorado will require a license beginning July 1, 2028, and a license requires a valid certification in good standing.

For Colorado professionals who have been planning to pursue certification, that date is a clear reason to begin. A more affordable way to start the coursework can make the timeline more manageable.

Working at Achieve

We’re a small practice on purpose, so nobody here feels like a number. We have consistent client assignments, predictable schedules, reasonable caseloads, regular clinical guidance, CEUs, and room to grow.

The Purdue Global partnership is one more way we back our team’s education. If that sounds like your kind of place, see our current openings and apply.

We hire for in-home ABA, school-based ABA, early intervention ABA, daycare-based ABA, and weekend ABA. We also offer parent training and group home ABA. Our back-to-school program helps kids through the transition.

A note for parents: nothing changes about your child’s services or what you pay. This partnership helps our clinicians keep learning and growing, which is good for your child’s team. Contact us with any questions.

FAQs
