Your child was made to soar.

We help Englewood families get there. Limited immediate openings available.

Most families reach us after months of waiting on an evaluation, with nobody telling them what to do in the meantime. That is the part we fix first. One call and you will know what your insurance covers, which pathway applies to your child, and what happens next.

ABA Therapy in Englewood

Therapy that fits how you live

An Englewood address does not tell you which school district your child belongs to. Homes here fall across Englewood Schools, Cherry Creek, Littleton Public Schools, and Sheridan District No. 2, and the boundary you are on decides who runs your child’s evaluation and IEP. Most families we meet have not checked, and it is worth confirming early.

We work with whichever district your child attends, coordinate with their special education team, and attend IEP meetings when invited.

Skills that stick in Englewood

Life as you know it will transform

ABA therapy builds skills that stay with your child long after therapy ends. Here is what Englewood families tell us they see.

Communication

Your child develops reliable ways to express what they need, what they want, and how they feel. Fewer moments of guessing on both sides.

Emotional regulation

Difficult moments get shorter and less frequent. Your child builds real tools for handling transitions, frustration, and unexpected change.

Independence

Morning routines. Getting dressed. Managing belongings. Handling a trip to King Soopers without it falling apart. The skills that change daily life for the whole household.

Social skills

Joining a conversation. Taking turns at the playground. Reading what other kids expect. The social world becomes more navigable.

Safety awareness

Understanding traffic on Broadway and Hampden, responding appropriately to strangers, and knowing when and how to ask for help.

These are not temporary improvements. They become part of how your child moves through the world, because you learn how to reinforce them every day.

Back-to-School ABA in Englewood

Don't start the year behind.

Back-to-School ABA gets your child ready before the first bell rings. We build in-home sessions around the transition, so the skills your child needs for the classroom are already in place when the year starts, not scrambled together in week two.

Classroom readiness

Follow directions, handle transitions, and settle into a full day of structure before it is actually required.

Smooth transitions

Support for the shift from summer to school, routine changes, and IEP goals heading into the new year.

No diagnosis needed for eligible Colorado Medicaid families

If your family is enrolled in Health First Colorado and meets the state's eligibility criteria, a referral may be all it takes to begin. Families on commercial or employer plans typically need a diagnosis first. We will tell you which applies to you before you commit to anything.

Limited immediate openings available

Reach out early to secure a strong start to the school year.

Parent training included in Englewood

Medicaid will not pay for it. We will.

When the session ends for the day, your child goes back to living their life. How you respond to their behavior, how you reinforce their skills, and how your household communicates makes an enormous difference in whether those therapy gains hold.

That is what parent training is for.

Every Achieve family in Englewood gets parent training built directly into their program. Your therapist coaches you during sessions and between them.

What changes for you:

You understand what your child needs.

Instead of guessing, you learn why your child does what they do. You see the patterns. Behavior starts making sense.

You handle tough moments better.

Transitions. Meltdowns. Bedtime. You learn strategies that actually work, so you are not only managing a crisis after it starts.

Your whole family speaks the same language.

Your therapist uses specific phrases and strategies. You learn them. Grandparents learn them. Siblings learn them. Your child hears consistency everywhere.

Your child learns at home, not just in sessions.

Therapy happens on a schedule. Home happens every day. When you know the strategies, your child practices constantly, and skills stick because they are reinforced all the time.

You feel less stressed.

You are not wondering whether you are doing it right. You have tools. You have a plan. You know what to do.

Medicaid won’t pay for parent training. We do because your involvement isn’t something nice to have. It’s everything.

Getting started in Englewood

You do not have to wait for a diagnosis if you're on Colorado Medicaid

A lot of Englewood families tell us the same thing: they have been trying to get an evaluation scheduled for months and they do not know what to do while they wait.

If your family is enrolled in Health First Colorado, you may not have to wait. Colorado Medicaid has an eligibility pathway that allows some children to begin ABA services with a referral from their pediatrician while the formal diagnostic process runs in parallel. We will confirm whether your child qualifies.

If you are on a commercial, employer, or military plan, a diagnosis is typically required before services can begin. We will walk you through exactly what applies to your coverage so there are no surprises.

Two things to know:

Those numbers matter because your child’s progress matters. And your sanity during summer? That matters too.

Insurance in Colorado

We handle the paperwork

Colorado’s autism insurance mandate requires state-regulated health plans to cover ABA therapy for children with autism. Self-funded employer plans fall under federal law and can differ, which is one of the reasons we verify every family’s benefits before anything begins.

Insurance and Medicaid paperwork should not be the reason a child does not get support. Our team handles the verifications, prior authorizations, and ongoing documentation.

Arapahoe County families on Health First Colorado have their behavioral health benefit coordinated through a Regional Accountable Entity. If you are not sure which one manages your benefit or whether ABA is covered under your plan, call us and we will verify your coverage before you make any commitment.

Not sure how Colorado Medicaid and waivers fit into your ABA coverage? Our guide to Colorado Medicaid waivers breaks down where to start.

How it works in Englewood

Step - 01
You call us.
One call. We answer, ask a few questions, confirm your insurance, and explain your options. No pressure and no sales pitch.
Step - 02
We verify benefits and confirm your pathway.
We check your coverage and tell you exactly what your plan requires, whether that is a referral, a diagnosis, or a prior authorization. You will know what the process looks like before you commit.
Step - 03
A BCBA meets with you and your child.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst comes to your home to assess your child and have a real conversation with your family. This is a clinical meeting.
Step - 04
We build a plan made specifically for your child.
Every element of your child's program is tailored to where they are right now and where your family wants them to go. No generic goals. No templated plans. Parent training is part of the plan from day one.
Step - 05
We move as fast as your plan allows.
Onboarding at Achieve is fast. The actual start date depends on intake, assessment, insurance authorization, and matching your child with the right therapist. We keep you updated at every stage instead of leaving you guessing.

What sets us apart in Englewood

This is why families choose us

We staff to meet demand.

We keep openings available and we are honest with you about timing rather than quoting a number we cannot control.

We do not refer out difficult cases.

Your child may have anxiety alongside autism, sensory differences, or significant behavioral challenges. Our BCBAs are experienced across the full spectrum, including children with co-occurring diagnoses and limited communication. We build around who your child actually is.

Therapy and parent training in Spanish or English.

Arapahoe County has a large Spanish-speaking community, and we serve those families in the language that works best at home, not just during sessions.

We work through age 21.

Toddlers through teenagers and young adults moving toward independence.

We coordinate with your child's actual school.

Englewood addresses fall across several districts. We work with Englewood Schools, Cherry Creek School District, Littleton Public Schools, and Sheridan School District, attend IEP meetings when invited, and make sure home and school are pulling in the same direction.

We work with your child's brain, not against it.

ABA at Achieve is not about making your child appear neurotypical. It is about real skills that improve quality of life.

What you need in Englewood

Getting connected

Englewood works well for families who want Denver access without Denver prices or Denver pace. The parks are genuinely good, the light rail runs through the middle of town, and most things a family needs are within a few minutes.

A few Englewood places families tell us they return to:

Belleview Park:

Thirty-six acres with a playground, creek access, sports fields, a dog park, and a miniature train and small farm that run seasonally. The creek is a reliable summer afternoon for kids who need to move.

Pirates Cove Family Aquatic Center:

Slides, a lazy river, and a sandy beach area at the edge of Belleview Park, open through the summer season. Worth checking their schedule for quieter windows if crowds are hard for your child.

Englewood Public Library at CityCenter:

Early literacy programs and family events, with the Museum of Outdoor Arts sculpture collection right outside.

Cushing Park and Romans Park:

Smaller neighborhood parks that tend to be calmer than Belleview on a weekend, which matters for kids who get overwhelmed in crowds.

Mary Carter Greenway and the South Platte River Trail:

Flat, paved, and long. Good for scooters, bikes, and a walk that does not require negotiating traffic.

Englewood Recreation Center:

Indoor space for the months when outdoor is not happening.

FAQ Englewood

We hear these a lot

Do we need an autism diagnosis before starting ABA therapy in Englewood?

It depends on your coverage. Families enrolled in Health First Colorado may be able to begin with a pediatrician referral under Colorado Medicaid’s eligibility pathway while the formal evaluation is still pending. Families on commercial, employer, or military plans typically need a confirmed diagnosis first. Call us and we will verify which applies to your family before you commit to anything.

We have limited immediate openings available and our onboarding is fast. The actual start date depends on intake, assessment, insurance authorization, and matching your child with the right therapist. We will give you a realistic timeline once we have verified your benefits, and we will keep you updated at each stage.

Yes. In-home therapy is our primary service model in Englewood. Your therapist works with your child during real routines at home, which is where most skills need to hold. We also provide school-based, daycare-based, and telehealth services depending on what fits your family.

Most of Englewood is served by Englewood Schools (Englewood School District No. 1), but Englewood-addressed homes can also fall within Cherry Creek School District, Littleton Public Schools, or Sheridan School District No. 2. We coordinate with whichever district your child attends, communicate with teachers, and attend IEP meetings when invited.

We accept Health First Colorado, CHP+, most major commercial plans, TRICARE and CHAMPVA, and private pay. We verify your benefits before you make any commitment and explain any out-of-pocket costs in advance.

Ages 2 through 21, including teenagers and young adults working toward independence.

It is included in every plan. Your therapist coaches you during sessions and between them, because the strategies only hold if the household is using them consistently.
